LIVE MUSIC: LIVING TYPE
Living Type is a Brisbane based rock trio connecting audiences with a healthy dose of originals and covers.
The band have recorded two EPs over the last few years as well as entertaining live crowds with songs that take you from "Hey, I know this song" to where you can't help but sing along.

Chris Timms Music
Chris Timms' beginnings like all great artists, started with a love affair for all things music from a young age where he began studying the guitar at just 6 years old. By the age of 13, he was already performing live in front of crowds. By 25, he had supported well known legendary Australian Bands The Screaming Jets and The Angels.
Spinning Silver, MindsAlike, Liquidate, Neverworld and The Wind Up Dolls are only a small selection of the bands and projects he was part of before he reinvented himself as a leading solo artist.
Chris’ albums such as "The Journey Home" "The Second Chapter" and his latest album "The Spark Within" have earned him recognition and airplay from all over the globe. He’s on constant rotation at online station “ProgRockRadio” and his music video “The Disconnected” and The Touch of God has been played on TV Show “Connected” and “The Hard Rock Show” respectively. His material has also received airplay on Australian radio stations, CFM and 4ZZZ
LIVE MUSIC: GIMMY
The solo project of Byron Region female artist, GIMMY (pronounced "gimmie") brings a diverse flavour to the table with sways of surf-garage, indie-rock and glimpses of folk. Alongside her band consisting of Samson Radici (guitar), Kyle Aubrey (bass) and Barclay Israel (drums), GIMMY delivers a raw authentic sound with heavily lyrical songwriting and vibrato vocals that captivates crowds with a charismatic stage performance.
“My music is a representation of my raw expression in all its diverse forms. It allows all the different shades of my inner world to be expressed into the outer world. My songs are representations of messages to myself and my thought processes toward different worldly topics.”

Prepare for an epic night of music as Pippi Lips, North Stradbroke Island’s iconic band, returns to the Point Lookout Bowls Club on December 7th! Fresh off a fantastic set at the recent Island Vibe Festival, the boys are back by popular demand, bringing their infectious island-style ska, rock, and reggae to the stage.
With decades of experience and a legacy as proud pioneers of Minjerribah’s music scene, Pippi Lips are set to light up the revitalized Bowlsie with their unique, electrifying sound.
LIVE MUSIC: WAY DYNAMIC
WAY DYNAMIC'S new album is a little bit Nillson or Newman, a little bit Beach Boys or Bolan, but ultimately Young’s own mash up of influences to create a beautifully melodic and textured record. The album, co-produced by Good Morning’s Stefan Blair, relishes in its own absurdities, stupidities and combines them with intensely beautiful melodies, wonderfully juxtaposed. Duck traverses through a range of Young’s songwriting abilities, with opening song ‘Doctor Doctor’ and ‘Pray For Me Now’ showing off their groove focus, whereas first single ‘Material’, ‘One Of A Kind’ and ‘Sports’ show off this oddball pop songwriting knack while remaining incredibly catchy. Young’s affinity for tender compositions shine through on ‘We Are All Alone’, as well as album highlight ‘Candlelight’ featuring a wonderful baroque pop string section arranged by Chloe Sanger.
In combination, Way Dynamic show off a diverse and interesting 10 tracks of minimalist folk-pop, with thoughtful instrumentation cementing Young as one of Melbourne’s best songwriters.

Whitt's End is a high-energy pop-punk rock trio
fronted by Australian brothers Saxon and Jarvis Whittaker.
Raised in Hong Kong, the Whittaker brothers saw a quick rise to popularity, becoming a regular fixture at music venues in the vibrant nightlife of Lan Kwai Fong and Wan Chai, and most frequently Hong Kong’s home of live music, The Wanch.
They continued to grow a following performing at several festivals including 'Lantau Live', 'Jungle Fest', and the city's biggest music festival 'Clockenflap'. After winning the Hong Kong Battle of the Bands, and performing at the prestigious Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, they sought to branch out.
Now based in Brisbane, Whitt's End have made a loud emergence into the music scene. Joined by Dexter Hurren on drums, they’re establishing their exciting sound across Fortitude Valley and beyond.
